Thank you to Riders by Lee for sponsoring this post
Can’t believe the holidays are here! If you’re like anything like me, your holiday shopping consists of 90% online shopping and 10% actually going into the store. While I typically do my store shopping during the weekend, comfort is key. What’s more comfy than a pair of leggings? The best part of these bottoms are they’re transitional. Not only can I wear them with a pair of flats and an anorak on the weekend while running errands; they also werk at work in the office during the week. In collaboration with Riders by Lee, I’m sharing my comfortable but chic style during 9 to 5 and on the weekends.
Once upon a time, wearing leggings as pants was a faux pas. Fast forward many years later, no one even gives a second look. I take that as society’s nod to understanding our need for chic yet comfortable apparel. Riders by Lee has the BEST pair of leggings I’ve ever worn. They’re opaque so no bare skin or undies peeking through. They’re durable-this particular pair has been washed over 5 times and have yet to lose it’s color. For us plus size ladies, they actually come in our sizes to accommodate our hips, belly and most importantly, our booty.
I love that Riders by Lee not only provide denim options but other necessary apparel. My olive anorak is by them and works both as a layering piece and alone as a jacket. After one of Mariah’s soccer game this fall, the weather was perfect to wear it as a jacket.
I’ve already touched on just how versatile these leggings are but nothing beats the visual. Between you and me, I’ve worn them to the office because quite frankly, they easily mimic ponte pants. Paired with a button down, pumps and a blazer, these leggings were a major hit at work.
So while I love a pair of denim jeans, nothing beats the comfort factor of a pair of leggings. I encourage you all to add a pair to your wardrobe. They work great while out shopping for the holidays and obviously at the office. Tried them, let me know what you think!
