I know I haven’t been as active as I usually am lately. It’s officially crunch time for us in terms of wedding planning so my days and weekends are booked up with preparation. Regardless, I did make time to attend Fashion to Figure‘s (FTF) Summer Preview event last week. Hosted at the uber chic Soho House, I was able to peruse racks and racks of summer pieces to be launched early next month.
I loved the fact that the pieces were eclectic and hit just about every type of style out there from hobo chic, to city savvy, to sleek and sexy. Polka dots, stripes, lace, crochets, bright colors, print on print, you want it, FTF gives it. By far, I was most elated to see that they had incorporated crop top coordinates. You guys know I love a crop top ensemble and FTF has made it easy by providing the coordinating pieces for you. Needless to say, as I was picking out pieces, I could not help styling them in my head for upcoming events this summer. Thanks to FTF, it’s going to be a cruel summer! You better get on it!
Did you know Fashion to Figure’s co-founders are actually the great-grandsons of the plus size fashion giant, Lane Bryant? It goes without say that it’s a family tradition. In the words of Lane Bryant herself,
“never ask women to conform their figures to fashion, but rather bring fashion to the figure.”
