There’s nothing more chic on both a woman and man, than a nice fitting suit. Whether you’re in the corporate world, finance world, an educator or in higher-education like me, being presentable certainly helps. With that being said, suit up sis!
If you think appearance doesn’t count in the workplace, you are surely mistaken. Your skills and quality of work will always shine, however, your appearance will leave an impression in the workplace. My career consists of working with millennials who often think it’s okay to show up to the office with distressed jeans and cut up tops. While this may be the case in a more casual or creative organization, I’m here to help the soon-to-be college graduates come next month, figure out their personal work style. Dressing well will not only help validate you and boost your self confidence, but it will certain impose a positive reputation amongst your colleagues. Professional appearance, regardless of dress code, are key factors in gaining respect in the workplace.

Nowaday, there are selections in everything from pattern to solids to brilliant neutrals. Ultimately, the way you look and carry yourself creates an impression on the people you work alongside.
