Phew, what a weekend!! If the female solidarity and feministic storm that engulfed the U.S. is any indication for what’s to come, I’m here for it all! I felt it was only right to share this style post with a shade typically linked all things overly girly, pink. Not just any pink, but damn near fuschia. I rarely wear this shade but thought it was befitting on the account of this weekend. Not to mention, I often like to step outside my comfort zone. Bell Sleeve, Faux Fur? Yes, please!
I’ve had my eye on this dress for months but it would always sell out in my size! Clearly, I’m not the only woman out there obsessed with it. Between the modest length and whimsical flare sleeves, it certainly isn’t for your typical wallflower. Coming in white, black, plum, kelly green and obviously, fuschia, there’s a shade for every woman out there. I paired mine with gold multi-strand necklace and pink sparkly earrings. Next time I wear it, think I’ll opt for a gold belt or fur stole. Although it’s gorgeous, it certainly serves as a blank canvas to build, on with accessories including statement heels like my Valentinos.
It’s still winter and as much as I often welcome suffering for fashion (went bare leg this day), I needed not only a warm coat, but a fashionable one as well. There are so many amazing coats out there sold in our size. ASOS is one of my go-to retailers for all things faux fur, especially outerwear. You last saw my green fur coat here during the holidays paired with a velvet suit. Green goes quite well with pink, so it was a total no-brainer to wear it with my dress.
