With spring officially here, I’m quickly transitioning from bulky winter pieces to more colorful and vibrant colors. This boho-esque peasant blouse from Simply Emma is lightweight and as you can see below, I was able to wear it as a dress by sizing up. I love the fringe detailing around the neckline as well as the tribal pattern and ruffled hem. It gives the blouse a little more personality, in my opinion. If you’re not as bold as I am and are wary of showing your stems, I recommend wearing this top with a pair of white skinny jeans or capris and finishing off your look with cognac colored sandals or going bohemian with wooden platform sandals.
I’m still digging the color navy from winter and loved that this lacy top came in that hue. I paired it with these pair dark wash skinny jeans that I cut and frayed at the hem and black pumps. I will warn you that the top is semi-sheer so unless you want to show your bra, I recommend adding a camisole, like this one from the Simply Emma, for a more conservative take. It certainly doesn’t take away from the look.
Having moved recently, Sears has not only become my go-to destination for home appliances, but the fact that I can shop for clothes there too truly makes it a one-stop shop. Feeling overwhelmed with selections? Well Sears has created look-books that’ll help narrow down or at very least, inspire your spring wardrobe. Make sure you head over to your local Sears to check out some pieces from Simply Emma. I’ve already got my eye on this stripped swing dress (really flattering on plus size bodies) and this zipper detail denim skirt. Also, check out fellow blogger, Style MBA, as she styles the epic cargo-pant here.
