Ruffles, flute arms, pinstripes, bow details, you name it, I love them all. On my recent trip to Mexico City, I wore this amazing ruffle wrap dress from…you’d never guess!
Aside form having a thing for ruffled pinstripe pieces, check a similar style I wore here, can you believe this ruffle wrap dress is from Target?! It’s part of the Who What Wear collection which has been killing it, you hear me! It’s SO hard not to stock up on just about all the pieces they offer. Not only are they reasonably priced, but they’re easily accessible, and come in a huge array of styles and sizes from xs-3x in most pieces. I’m wearing the XL.
I wore my ruffle wrap dress to the Secretariat of Public Education, a federal building which houses the governmental cabinet with the responsibility for overseeing the development and implantation of Mexico’s educational policy and school standards. They have several buildings throughout Mexico, but we visited the main one located in Mexico City. Although it’s a federal building, it’s open to the public primarily because of the spectacular murals painted by famed Mexican artist, Diego Rivera.
If you’re interested in learning more about this mural and my trip, stay tuned. I have a three part series on this AMAZING city and all the gems that are worth visiting. I also have video which will go live on my Youtube channel.
