Get a jump on Spring oufit by adding florals and pastels to your work wardrobe, early. Yes, I know, technically it’s not spring yet but I’m a firm believer in adding little touches of color and pattern to uplift the mood, especially during cold weather season. SO let’s bring some florals to the office. Quick disclaimer: when you think about it, you don’t want a closet of trendy or statement-grabbing pieces without having necessary core pieces to begin with. Who knew I needed a pair of blush colored wide leg trousers? So happy I did add them to my closet because they literally go with every shade-neutrals or brights and transitions from season to season with no exception.
We all have issues dressing for work, but the key I’ve shared with you guys many times over, is that you want to add more transitional pieces to your work wardrobe. Then, you fill in those gaps with on-trend items or pieces that you would wear in moderation, cue a floral blazer. This allows you to still be cost conscious without skimping on style. Eloquii is a great brand that allows you to do just that. Let me tell you, when you find a brand that knows your style to a tee, provides a variety of options and is a one stop shop for everything from casual pieces to boardroom chic, Eloquii certainly hits the spot.
At a recent shopping trip with my teen daughter, I came across this twist button down top. It comes in pinstripe and baby blue, but I went for the white since it would give me the flexibility of pairing it with more options. Oh, did I mention it’s only $18!!
What’s your spring work style? Are you more traditional, or do you like to add some pizzazz to it? Below are some of my favorite statement blazers, a few I currently own.
