I’m coming with another fast fashion DIY for you guys. By now, ya’ll know I love me some embellishments, whether pearl or otherwise. I last DIY’d a pair of denim jeans (seen here) with pearls and I decided to use some left over pearls to customize my my own wool coat.
I’ve noticed pearl coats all over, particularly in pastel shades which I love! I initially purchased this pearl embellished coat, but found it too light for the season so I returned it. Upon doing so, it sparked an idea. I can make my own pearl embellished coat! So, I went to my closet and tried to hunt down my crimson red wool coat I had thrifted for $5 years ago. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it but on the rack, I did come across my oversized cocoon wool coat from a few years ago.
It was an unseasonably warm day today so I took full advantage and wore my DIY pearl coat, grey skinny leggings, and my Manolo Blank pumps for a chill but chic brunch look. I went all monochromatic with the exception of pairing it with a white button down.
I recorded the DIY for you guys. It’s fairly simple. All you need is a lot of flat back pearls and gem glue. Make sure you follow my Youtube channel and like and comment so I know you guys like videos like these so I can continue to dish them out!
