Nothing says fashion comfort to me like an oversize piece. On my third look from GSlovesMe, I am wearing this muted cherry red boxy maxi dress. Aside from being slightly convertible piece in that you can style it off the shoulder, cape like and a couple of other ways, if you’re short like me, tying it into a knot on the side, serves for not just functionality but fashion as well.
Wearing a belt with this dress is optional but since it’s quite voluminous and has draping on the sides, adding a belt cinches in the waist and breaks up the monotony a bit while lifting the sides adding that attractive waterfall affect. I paired one of my favorite red and pink gingham heels with it and cheetah belt for contrast. Matching isn’t necessary in fashion. Adding some visual interest not only jazzes up an outfit, but can often lead to a conversational piece.
