“When I need motivation
My one solution is my queen
‘Cause she stays strong
She is always in my corner
Right there when I want her
All these other girls are tempting
But I’m empty when you’re gone
And they say
Do you need me?
Do you think I’m pretty?
Do I make you feel like cheating?
And I’m like no, not really ’cause
Oh, I think that I’ve found myself a cheerleader
She is always right there when I need her”-Omi “Cheerleader”
You ever had that one song that just can’t leave your head, regardless of how much you wish it? Well Cheerleader by Omi is such song. My 10 year old is obsessed with it and so is the world, it seems. While in Hawaii, this song was on repeat on all the radio stations. Although I’m over it, I must admit I appreciate the nostalgia it brings, of our family vacation cruising through Oahu and The Big Island. I will always be a cheerleader for family time, regardless of how old my child gets.
On a side note, I’m still not quite ready to wear a coat yet I hate to be cold. This is where layering plays a huge part. In this Sunday brunch look, I paired my Fashion To Figure denim boyfriend jeans and checkered cape (last seen here) with a graphic sweatshirt and statement heels, the comfortable kind.
