A few weeks ago, I celebrated my birthday with a number of dinners with my family and friends. It seems the older I become, the more low-key I prefer my birthday celebrations. Though I must add that I’m married to a foodie, so those “low-key” birthdays always involve testing out a new restaurant. Now that we live in Brooklyn, we are surrounded by hybrid of restaurants from French-Mexican fusion, oyster bars, to modern thai and the list goes on and on. Although I’ve been on this healthy kick lately, it becomes more and more challenging to stay obedient with the most mouth watering menus around.
Hungry yet? Yes…so let me deter to this beautiful floral dress from Maggy London. Spring is synonymous to flowers, for obvious reason, and this dress fit the bill. I naturally gravitated towards it ever since opting for a blush colored wedding gown, I’ve become borderline obsessed with the shade of blush. The high-low silhouette allows to show a little leg while being conservative from behind. The fit and flare cut is quite flattering on all body types and particulary on plus size shapes. It’s fitted on top and flares out camouflaging the abdominal area. Ugh, it’s so feminine and the satin fabric just adds that air of luxury. It’s the perfect dress for a night out, wedding, or any other semi-formal event. Mark my words, you won’t be disappointed. Get my dress HERE but I’ve posted some others I love below.
